My Uncle's cats would lie under the woodstove and litererally singe their fur before they'd deign to move. One jumped onto the top of the stove and poor thing burnt his paw pads uote nastily. Our own cat Higgs isn't bothered about warm and dry and will sit outside in rain and snow and doesn't like our fire / stove. Dunno if she is scared of the flames or the crackling noises and me chucking more fuel on

Madam Lexi is a sucker for any heat source going. She'll stretch out under the radiator - either in the dining room or on the upstairs landing - to get the full effect.

Oscar enjoyed a game with a burst football he found in a field on the way home from our 5 mile coastal walk 😀
Prefers burst so he can catch it mid air!

Our Penny would lay against the grille on the electric fire until her fur smoked if you let her.
