Little puppy Jet is now a boisterous five months old whirlwind. He’s not as fast as Finn but when he catches him he’s starting to come out on top. Proper mates now.

I had our place looking like a scene from a Disney movie all designed to entertain my two cats who are indoor. We had mice, squirrels (that I tried very hard to dislike but failed miserably) hedgehogs and all sorts of lovely wee birds and some bigger like a woodpecker. Then we spotted a pine Martin and pretty soon all I am left with is the birds. Can't blame nature, but feel I may have created an easy target for the pine Martin.

We haz cats! I've been meaning to post a picture of some of our lot for a while but trying to get them all together is obviously like, err, herding cats. However, a warm sunny day caught some of them lounging in the outside cat run. Centre stage is Luke (actually part pedigree, his mother Iris is half Ragdoll), Gordon (ginger tom) with Millie (black & white) sat on the same seat behind him and two of her offspring at the back, Florence in the corner and Michael to the right.

" So friendly and with a responsible owner. "
I subscribe to the view " no bad dogs, only bad owners " having said that it's naive to think it's that simple.

" Not unexpectedly, Akita are strong dogs – in body and character – and are not recommended for the novice owner. They need experienced handling and early and ongoing socialisation and training. "

So let's hope the owner has 'done his homework' and purchased the dog for all the right reasons. 😇

Hopefully.
He’s got a rescue dog from Romania and is also a dog walker.
Out socialising the pup daily.
No guarantees but pup seems to be in the best home.

Love the cat run.

I've been trying to get prices for an all singing one, but I might have to resort to something like you have there.

Sad news.
Haven’t seen our hedgehog for a few days.
Discovered a wee dead hedgehog on the grass just round from our street.
Hope it’s not our wee friend but similar size.
Oscar inspected it but didn’t bark.
Poor little one xx

We haven't seen much since the pinemarten moved in.

Just nature I suppose.
