Strange you should mention that. I live very nearly at the top of a hill, with an extremely large field at the back. A hot air balloon nearly landed in my back garden, and just about got enough lift to rise above the house. A hang glider has landed near my back garden. As well as a glider plane. The most disconcerting was when a high speed jet flew so low that everything in the house started to shake.
