I like this bench that I pass on one of my regular cycling loops. It's very rustic; made of a couple of lengths of tree trunks with a huge slab of timber across the top. Admittedly it's placed at the top of a steady road climb, but no foot path crosses here or lay-by for picnicking motorists. Did someone really build it for weary cyclists? I've never seen anyone else near it despite the magnificent view over the Craven Fault to Ingleborough.
