Please advise a decent bike and a child seat to cycle a 4 year old child to school

What about a tag along ?

Is it safe for a 4 year old? He is just 15 kg and 96 cm tall.

afaik tag along are suitable for kids age 4-8 - as long as they can reach the pedals. They dont need to be able to touch ground as you provide the balance and support. Look em up there are plenty of articles on the internet about them

My must haves would be;

- wide bars to counteract the child wobbling around on the back because they think it's hilarious.

- mudguards so you don't all get wet

- pannier rack to put in school bag, snacks, coat etc
