Still recovering from sprained knees. So this will be my 3rd weekend off the bike.

I'm going into withdrawal dammit!!

Might get off to Hull to look at bikes. As the snow/ice has finally started to melt today I might go for a proper long ride .

Fitting new brake cables to the ss mtb conversion, putting a cot up in the nursery and watching a bit of rugby.

I was offered a date with a nice friend for Saturday evening. Couldn't book anywhere last minute so I bought two tickets to a St. Valentine's fund raising performance for my AmDram group. Date cancelled as her mum is ill and she is driving down to Kent to see her. I shall go on my own now.

I will be plasterboarding all day Saturday I think.

club's "circuit of the edge" ride, 50m up, down and around a local lump of a hill 3 times. probably won't be able to partake of the café stop at the end as i'm going somewhere with the family later on.

IKEAology for my Mum followed by tiling and rugby. Sunday will be a stroll around the Lido with Jack the dog, working on a presentation for England v France weekend, 'doing a dan_bo' aka drinking wine and cleaning my bicycle - which looks the pits at the moment.
Any spare time will be devoted to studying Lance Armstrong's esteemed drugs tests.

Out for a meal with my wife tonight - our favourite Malaysian - Bunga Raya in Stockport - well it was in Stockport, he's just moved to Hazel Grove.... We've been in about 4/5 times over the last 2 years (don't get out much).

Then out on the bike - weather looks very promising.
