Any recommend a free one so as I can delete unwanted stuff before printing

Nit sure there ms any free ones that are any good. But if all you need is to block stuff out it might be easier to put it in any graphics or even ms word, draw white boxes over the bits you want and then print.

PDF X allows you to delete text, but I can't see a way to delete pictures. However, it will allow you to add new pictures, which could be a plain white blank area:

there just seems to be a huge loss of quality if I transfer it (screen shot the PDF and paste into word) then print form word

I would like to keep the same quaulity as the original PDF

If you use LibreOffice - which is free - then you can open the pdf in Reader
then just treat it as as document and write it out again

If you prefer MS Word then you can write it out as a doc file and then re-open it in Word

Yes screen shotting the pdf will be very low resolution. You want to convert it into an image. If you have something like photoshop you can do that else you can easily convert it to an image for free online.

my photo editor I would have to screen shot the image in, then there is the same loss of quality
Using online file converters, I do use them for some things, but this is bank stuff and I'm not uploading that to some cloud for processing

Fair enough. Then you could download a free pdf converter and do it locally. Probably find software to do that for free easier than finding a free pdf editor.

There are online converters that are quite good

I used a thenm a lot when I was applying for jobs and stuff

I can;t recommened any because the ones I used have changed a lot

just try a few out and see how they work
A lot will upload the files and send it back to you which may be a problem but I didn;t have any problems with them

Firefox has a PDF editing function. Set it so PDFs open in a tab and there are various tools top right.

That is exactly what i'm wanting - perfect, does everything I need, and I won't have to save things twice, I can edit when I download the page to print
