I'm cycling to Paris in April (first visit to France). Could you experienced people advise me if Paris is alright for looking about on my bicycle. Cheers. Ron

I don't want to put you off, but I have cycled in quite a few European cities and Paris was the worst experience. There were a lot of moped drivers with scant regard for traffic lights, and the radial junctions(if that's what they are called) were a bit difficult for the newcomer. I just left my bike at the hostel and walked everywhere, much less stressful.

Thanks for that Snorri. I definitely agree with you. I think I'll save my cycling for the nice countryside and enjoy walking around Paris. Ron.
