My wife had the same problem not to long ago so we got her a Wittkop cosmic sole ladies specific saddle and no more problem in that department, have you a bike shop any where nearby to ask what they may have ?

i changed the angle of the saddle, also i was still a bit 'sore' from the other day - should have had a longer break !
Could be the hot months we are in: you must be sweltering in France.
I got some chafing lately, when normally I'm good for 60 miles without padding: it has been unusually hot here, after all our saddles are made of upvc (?) ...plastic ^_^
Guess with a real leather saddle one has less problems.

I had similar problems and discovered that my sitting position was wrong. I needed my handles bars raising a little, it just eased the pressure slightly. I have a saddle with a cut out too, that helps.

Never get a gel seat, worst thing I ever did. It causes movement which causes friction. Not nice.

I ended up with a Selle SMP . It's really not bad - certainly an improvement on certain bits getting squashed. Not 100% broken it in yet, but it is much much better than my other one. Not as expensive as some @ £35.99 (CRC).

I have had one of these on my bike for about 3 years
