They've aged very well haven't they. Was it a Frua design? I know they entrusted it to an Italian house. I now have to look it up.

Michelotti. Close, no cigar

Michelotti's original had the headlights behind the grille and didn't have that unfortunate chrome sided roll bar.

It could, but back then everything in British car design looked like an afterthought - usually because it was.

This is true. Often interesting and radical concepts, but poorly executed (my father's first new car was an Austin Maxi).
