Isn't it funny - I was surprised it wasn't more, given that's the most desirable run-out model, allied to the general madness that accompanies Fords.

MOT history suggests it hasn't been on the road in three years, and in 2009 required structural welding. The price probably reflects that its not the best example of the breed.

The Tickford Turbo is the one to have ifmyoure minted and have no taste. My first job from school while waiting to join the Army was in a factory directly opposite Tickford so seen a few of these back in the day.

I remember 'em. Too much lipstick on that particular porcine, by far!

Wednesday 20th
Driving home, from Wakefield, about an hour ago, I spotted a rather nice Volvo P1800 heading towards the city, on Black Road (A655), near Hell Lane & Horse Race End
Apologies, no photographs
It was approximately here, heading south-west; https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1669765

It was this colour (random photograph)

Not something you see every day; an Aston Martin 2-4 from 1954. Not sure I've even seen one in the wild before, not up close at any rate. It was in utterly superb condition. Wow!

I think I can forgive the shonky parking as I'd likely not have seen it otherwise, and it wasn't in anyone's way
