The most common use I see (& use) for FTFY is Fixed That For You, usually 'correcting' someone elses post - for any of: factual correction, facetious coment, comic effect, anything else.

Im not sure if you 2 are serious or just poking the dog with a stick but ;
BSO = bike shaped object.
A term used by bike snobs to describe people on cheap bikes that dont meet their standards.
(edit - also used by non bike snobs but not with the same unpleasant implications , like black people using the n word)

Nope, I was serious - genuine thanks! I got the concept from the nature of the posts, but couldn't work it out.

Only been cycling since April and only been talking about bikes for even less than that!
