A car without centralised locking and all sorts of electronic gadgets that you don't need. There was a regressive step in automotive technology after the Nissan Micra K10.
Still plenty of cockroaches, sorry K10s around. Fill yer boots ^_^

When i started drinking, around 1974, even down south a pint of ale was 35p.
I can remember 1977 when you could get 3 pints of Whitbread & 3 packets of Walkers crisps for under a £1, I think it was 28p a pint & 5p a packet, in the Tap room, but you couldn't do it in the Best room as it was 1p a pint more expensive.

Very soon Postman will be going to see his old mate Ernie in Hunmanby. To me living in a fast and hectic Leeds,it is like going back in time,to the quiet and peace of the genteel 50's and early 60's.I find it such a wonderful resting break away.So what do you want bringing back from the past.

F1 cars that aren't so fugly.

Late 80s / early 90s cars were actually really rather pretty. I still maintain that the Ross Brawn-designed Arrows A11 is one of the prettiest F1 cars ever built.

I'd love to see cars like that again on the F1 grid (as opposed to historic series and revivals) but built to the current impact and safety regs. Yeah, that would include a halo or aeroscreen and higher cockpit sides, but given how I feel about motorsport safety, it's a price worth paying.

It all went wrong when they got rid of the dropped nose cone for the... flanged... thing. Only the silver McLaren livery circa 1997 pulled off the look, although at least Jordan openly acknowledged how ugly the new style was with its snake decal.

Or some of the 70's cars. Got quite a few F1 cars in my Scalextric from 70's and 80's. Fav were JPS and the green and white Saudia Leyland Williams.

Must say the GT racing cars are outstanding now, looks, speed and noise.
