Before relocating to Hollywood, Holly Johnson formed the band "Frankie goes to Howwood". Howwood is a small town in south Renfrewshire, adjacent to Johnstone. Holly Johnson is named after that town, as he was born there on Christmas day in 1934.
Aeroplanes were originally made from aero chocolate bars. Sadly warm and wet weather brought about a number of crashes, and less aeros were used in later aircraft as part of the fight against obesity.
