There is no word in the English language which rhymes with "Orange".

The reason for this is that William of Orange banned all rhymes with his names after the people of Limerick mocked him with a ditty starting:

"There once was a Dutchman named Billy
Who was cursed with a minature W..."

The Welsh ignored the edict, which is why the mountain near Abergavenney named the "Blorenge" still exists.

Wales was originally "Whales", named after the creatures which inhabited a small "Llyn" (lake) near the summit of Snowdon. In a tragic accident, a number of the whales jumped out of the lake and rolled down the mountain, crushing all in their path. The whales, however, ended up in the sea and found that that was an extremely amenable place for them. They never returned to their mountaintop home.

Whales were named after radio shock jock James Whale, who invented them when he fed a dolphin cub on nothing but jumbo sausages in batter. The batter was so fatty it actually changed the creatures DNA, and thus Whales were made and named after their creator.
