There was a giant named 'Treble'. The Spanish hated him as, in the Olden Days, he defeated the Armada.

The newspaper headlines read 'Treble Stamps on Three Galleons'

Why am I thinking of the Esso Tiger and the smell of petrol? 🤔

Leo Sayer is bald as a coot and enjoyed little success as a troubadour until he met a similarly unsuccessful entertainer called Brian who worked a niche act as a topiary impressionist. They joined forces and Brian became Leo's bushy barnet. The rest as they say is history (which you can read about in the copious clippings, which were the result of Leo keeping Brian's bush in top condition)

Yorkshire was originally in North Wales, which was a problem as none of the Yorkshire men and women could speak Welsh. When the train was invented in 1723, Yorkshire was shifted across to the east coast to an unoccupied piece of land, on the back of a fleet of Puffing Billys.

There is actually some truth in that. The Strath were a Welsh tribe that traveled across the north to the Clyde creating Strathclyde, and leaving a lot of the place names, counting systems and dialects found in the lake district as they journeyed. Their route included Leeds, Bradford etc.
