This premise was found to be false by a small band of physicists hiding in their fall out bunker after world war lll.
With nothing to do except theoretical physics or watching old DVDs they solved the time travel problem and adapted the plot from The Terminator.

Unfortunately their plan to prevent world war lll by killing Nigel Farage in a bizarre plane crash was unsuccessful.
