After starring in “Diamonds are Forever”, Sean Connery decided to leave the James Bond role, and a search for a successor began.

Dennis Waterman was the early favourite, but he was rejected by Cubby Brocolli due to his unreasonable demands, including an insistence that he was to sing the theme song. A duet with Shirley Bassey was proposed, but Waterman rejected this offer outright.

The role was eventually offered to Roger Moore, who made no singing demands.

Caesar salad was originally called Augustus salad but that didnt roll off the tongue so easy.....so it was changed to Caesar salad.

The 12 month was renamed as December to celebrate decimisatiln in 1973. Prior to that it had been called Frostydarkmorningmonth.

December used to be the tenth month of the Roman year, and it gets its name from the word 'decem', which means ten.

The Anglo-Saxons called it 'Winter monath', or 'Yule monath' because of the custom of burning the yule log around this time.
