Two skydivers died in a routine jump on Thursday, 11th August 2016, in Oregon after their parachute turned out to be a bear, authorities said.

Bungalows were invented in 1926 by builder Edward Culdesack.
Due to a shortage of bricks caused by the general strike, his company had a property that was partly built and only one storey high, so in an effort to keep things moving he told his foreman to "bung a low roof on it" simultaneously creating a new housing type and providing a name for it that is still used to this day.
This revolutionary new home found immediate favour with the elderly, the infirm and the bathmophobic and demand was such that many more were built across the world.
He later went on to invent the dead end road.

Edward Culdesack married twice. His oldest son by his first marriage initially refused to forgive him for separating from his Mother, so reverted to his Mothers maiden name, D'Tatched. His Morther was portuguese, and christened her son with the traditional portuguese name Semi.
Young Semi eventually reconciled with his Father, and followed him in to the building business. Some years later he invented another brick saving design, and after his death the type was name after him - Semi D'Tactched.
Culdesack's other two sons, Terrace and Bedsit, enlisted in 1939 and were killed during training by na falling hod full of bricks.

Due to contracts already written, the aforementioned 1926 brick shortage not only created the bungalow, but also the habit of including a big cupboard to put a small boiler in.
This was because the original home builder signed a copper bottomed contract to put lifts in. It's only recently they stopped putting the cables and buttons in the cupboards, and started dumping them on country lanes with piles of gravel as markers.

Prospective astronaut Bobby Gaspaccio Jnr, was so upset that he missed out on his trip to Mars, he's currently trying to sue NASA.
He's arguing discrimination, as the trip included collecting scientists from the space station on route, but they wouldn't deviate the rocket's flight path to collect Bobby from his house after he'd nipped home to make a pack up for the trip.
"They're just picking on the little man", said Bobby, who added, "they'll go hundreds of thousands of miles to collect some people, but refuse to go 10 miles down the road for me."
