I'd just like to point out that I have posted this factoid on similar threads twice already, and two of the people who liked it before have liked it again today.

However it is my favourite fact and I shall continue to post it at every opportunity.
I'll be amazed if there's a "nugget" of truth in that. Reckon I'm gonna be watching dogs' backsides for the new few weeks.

In the spirit of the OP; Ron Jeremy briefly held the USA collegiate pole vault record in the early 70's. Remarkably, without using a pole.

Obviously somebody's already done it but you could see if you can replicate their findings.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Julius Caesar was an early exponent of telling people what to do rather than constructive engagement to listen and come up with a mutually beneficial compromise. It didn't end well for him.
