My lovely wife is treating me to a new pair and I've narrowed it down, it's between the jawbones and the Radarpaths.
Can anyone recommend either, not just on looks but lense quality and build quality etc.

Thanks.

I have Jawbone's which came with black (medium bright days) and yellow lenses ( dull days) and added Fire Iridium VL lenses £25 for very sunny days.

Replacement RP lenses are going to be expensive.

I have got some Radar Path with Black iridium lenses - I tend to wear them on sunnier days, using flak jackets with Red iridium lenses for the less bright ones.

The Radar Paths are quite big glasses and I wouldn't wear them off the bike, whereas I might the Flak jackets.

I do however like them and use them regularly without any problems. The lenses are good and the quality is excellent.

I've got the Jawbones with the transitional lens. Great as you don't need to swap out lenses during rides. Work well apart from night time when it's dark, they don't go light enough.

Can but clear lenses for them.

Looking at getting the Radarlock Path glasses.

Buy these for £3.99 at Lidl. Splash the rest on a really good meal out with your partner/friend. BTW, Oakley's don't make you go any faster.

Oakleys to Lidl - you gotta love Cyclechat

@OP - there is a middle way - get Fakeley (Chinese rip-offs) Jawbones, and buy genuine Oakley lens to put in them.

I keep breaking the frames swapping the lenses on cheap glasses (Lidl, Argos and Blocs so far) and my current cheapies the yellow lens is scratched enough that I have to remove them to read my phone.

Still - no Oakleys for me as I'd probably leave them in a cafe.

I have radar path and radar lock, along with half jackets and thumps.
As a cycle specific pair of glasses the locks are the best IMHO, the paths seem to direct wind straight past my ear canal which can be pretty noisy at times.
The optics of all Oakley glasses are great, I prefer the polaroid lens
