You could always try Skyhooks. Just ask at B&Q. Bags of 10.
Make sure they are European standard. The Chinese copies are upside down, you can imagine the results.

as the title says.... are these adhesives any good?

*other 'super strength' adhesives are available.
...or are more traditional adhesives such as Evo stick, tile/coving adhesive preferable?
I've got some horrible wall tiles to cover (with white faced hardboard or MDF)... removing the tiles means I'd have to re plaster, so the cheap/quick fix is to cover them. So a glue that'll bond a glazed surface to a porous surface is required.
I glued some shelves in place with No More Nails in our previous house. They were good for light stuff, I do hope the new owner didnt put anything too heavy on them!
I'm covering old tiles with new splashbacks... if that bothers you so much, come on over and remove the tiles and re-plaster the wall for me. Once you've done that, I'll glue up the splashbacks, and it'll look exactly the same with or without old tiles behind them.MTFU and rip off the tiles.
why? well frankly you'll thank yourself in years to come, just go easy on the tiles and skim the wall once done, plastering isn't rocket science and years later when you want to re-do the walls you'll not appreciate taking the boards off and finding dodgy old tiling under there.
if you're going to do a job do it proper.
