Had that same effect on me. I kept escaping, but kept getting drawn back. Kind of like an enormous black hole.....('nuff said) Luckily I don't have to commute as far now, only into Rotherham, 7-9 miles each way. If I'm by bike or car I'll go by Braithwell/Ravenfield. If I run, its all along the main roads, Wickersley, Brecks etc.
