Budget? If low and wanting new (rather than used) this is very much entry level (and quite heavy at over 11kg) but at least in stock unlike many models

If you’re looking for speed, you might want to budget for new faster rolling tyres (eg GP5000 around £40 each but there are other cheaper, but less racy options) Be aware though that fast summer tyres are slightly more prone to puncture, so as above be prepared
or look for something second hand like a Giant Defy or Specialized Allez, you’ll get a better spec (although prices are high due to Covid lack of availability and this is the worst time of year to buy a roadbike).
However, looking back, you’re not buying until September so save hard, no point really looking until able to buy, prices may be a bit lower going into winter
