Oh dear! Not sure it's worth advising further as the advice given thus far has been ignored, but I'll try anyway.

CANCEL IT!

Buy s***e buy twice!

Guess it's good enough for the idiots.

Whoa! Hang on guys, sometimes it's a choice between a supermarket bike or no bike. A Tesco bike via the Clubcard exchange a couple of years back got me back in to cycling after a 25 year gap.

I subsequently bought a Carrera Subway Limited Edition with £180 of real money, but that really was a one-off cash spend.

When I found I had £65 of Clubcard vouchers, a £130 road bike was achievable via Tesco double-up scheme - frankly too good to miss, so now I have a road bike on the fleet that I otherwise simply could not have afforded.

If there's a choice, yes I would buy a top-spec bike, and we all welcome constructive criticism, but these derogatory comments might end up convincing newbies that they have to spend hundreds of pounds - and with that option many will just stay on the bus.

Rant over ^_^

Nothing derogatory about suggesting the OP cancelled the order, and no-one suggesting anyone needs to spend hundreds of anything..............................

As others have said already, if you have £200 to spend on a bike then choice number one should be a decent steel framed road bike, (ala biggs682), choice number two, a used Triban 3, (ala MikeW-71).

You can spend relatively little, you just need to spend it wisely.

Good luck with your cycling. I hope this bike leads you into doing more with cycling. While you are at it, try some other bikes just to see what the differences are, then you can judge for yourself when to upgrade.
