I must admit, I chose a carrera tdf after shopping around with a circa £300 budget and I'm pleased with mine. I've added clipless pedals and an upmarket gel seat(which I was "measured" for).

I find the service I receive at all of my local Halfords to be top notch....always available for friendly advice.

My next accessory will be mudguards....bit I've noticed that you have to be careful, as so,writes the price in the shop can be a lot more than if you order online and pick up In-store.

I paid £6 more for a pump, only to get home to find it was considerably cheaper online, so got a refund of the difference.

I often check the price online while in the store on my phone, then if the online is cheaper order it click and collect, then go to the counter with said item and tell I just bought it click and collect lol!
