New Bike Time - a healthy budget of £2500-£3500 maybe even £4000 for the right bike!

Still i'm not sure and have come across this what are peoples thought on this style rack with a carbon frame???

Indeed, this is why I will never buy a roof rack for bikes. I just know that that would happen.

I see where your going, but for me, i'd be happier spending 4k on a bike than a car(of that kind at least). I probably drive our car about an hour a week max unless we go anywhere but I spend about 6-7 hours on my bike every week. Doesn't make a 4k bike sound so bad value does it...

I'm sure it's a very small minority of idiot that would actually end up doing this though. Funnily enough, I've carried my bike on the roof loads of times and never ended up bending it.

Been there done that, love my cars and have had many sports cars including two seater mid engine convertibles also had motors bikes but love my fitness so pedal power it is for me!
