New bike time

After having my Cannondale Synapse for 10 years it's time for an upgrade. I am currently looking at these two.

Budget is around £2300 max are there any other makes/models I should consider?

Riding style is not super racy but on the odd occasion I like to get head down arse up.

Just watched this morning ,a quick Google I found one right at the top end of your budget ,but video recommends upgrading wheel and tyres so may push you over your budget ,
As an owner of 2 giants I am bias
Ribble excellent choice as you can spec the components you want , My last bike choice was between a giant and a Ribble ,went down the giant route as they offer a lifetime frame warranty to the 1st owner compared to ribbles 3 years ,
For that sort of money your not going to get a bad bike ,it will probably come down to personal choice as the differences will only be small
