Funny that when I was 19 or 20 I dont remember ever doing anything to a bike other than hopping on and riding it.All seems so much more complicated now.

I remember fixing a puncture once, using spoons to lever the tyre off, that was about it I think. Now a week doesn't go by that something doesn't need doing.

Have you taken it out yet?

Initially Scott was allowed to live in the living room.Scond night Scott was made to move into the bedroom. Now He has been relegated to the shed .Do you think my better half is being unreasonable:biggrin:

Done a couple of 15 milers now and really pleased with it.Cant wait for the chance to get out all day.

PS i know I should have moved the offcut of plywood and old bike tyre that are in the background of the rear mech shot.;)

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
+1 .... also ..... crank angle? Nearside crank and pedal visible in space below down tube. Valves must be at same position - prefer around 4 o'clock. No pumps!

Banjo, nice bike, nice decking too! ( and nice furniture )

Seriously, I love your bike, can't wait to get my racer too ( March next year)

I think also, your other half is being very unreasonable, not letting you keep your pride and joy in the bedroom

Happy cycling

I am on a steep learning curve at the moment once I have mastered clipping back in going uphill at lights with impatient traffic behind then I will try for the perfect bike pic.
