New Bike Day

Finally picked the new bike up, Carnt wait to get the miles in now. Just recovering from bronchitis then the miles will start to roll in.

I had SPD-SL pedals and cleats fitted, I've only road 1 mile on a quick ride today and think they are better than the SPDs. Had 2 elite bottle cages fitted.

When white bar tape gets grubby gonna change that not sure yet weather black or black and blue combo.

Im considering getting on the SPD-SL bandwagon myself with my new cube - Better support for long distance riding and all that. last thing you really need is a bad case of hotfoot.

Actually, I've checked and they're on the right way.

Gawd, maybe I'm just too old, but the more I look the weirder they look, it seems I'm part of the bar mounted bidon generation, damn new fangled carbo jobbies.

Love that bike though.

Love that bike though.

If I'm right, they're the Elite jobbies and they're just plastic. Great cages though as they weight nowt and can take a wide variety of bottles without rattling. I've got them on both my road bikes.
