New Bike Advice For Newbie

Hmmm,

To be honest, I've been through quite a few wet mornings and evenings already and the wet backside doesn't unduly perturb me (although perhaps a raceblade thingummy on the back might be an idea).

I'm just interested if, for example, anyone has experience of any of the comparable earlier models or know of specific issues I need to bear in mind when looking at bikes in this bracket.

Personally, i'd go felt because of the more relaxed (upright) riding position. That's because I have short arms though so a longer head-tube is beneficial.
