If you have just about everything, how's about getting something that's NOT for the bike.

Now that looks like a seriously good idea. How long did they take to come through? I think I may get one for each of us.

From memory a couple of weeks tops, the product is excellent, and they are v. helpful. Initially I went for the bracelet, placed my order, but changed my mind and went for the 'Dog tag' they say on their blurb if you do change your mind , and let them know within 24hrs of placing the order they can change any details, product. They were as good as their word.

I feel safer when I am wearing it, weird I know. I decided on it after my late Father-in -law died suddenly last year whilst away from home, he had no ID on him and it caused the Police/ambulance a drama.

£50 deposit on a Le Roi. Saw two today, an 07 frame set on R-SYS wheels and a complete 09. Had to be very firm with myself that I don't really need another bike!

We had a new lad come out last Sunday, he was on a Wilier Izoard Pro, full campag carbon Groupset and Fulcrum R3's. I had similar feelings of desire!

I have a musette, the Campag book is attractive, so is cash;) cables, tubes and brake blocks are mundane, but essential items, maybe if I get some cash...

NEWSFLASH...Apparently we are getting a joint pressie of a 37" LCD telly for the front room, at least I'll be able to watch the TdF on a bigger screen next year!

How about finding one of those charity gift schemes where you buy a thing 'for' someone and the money actually goes to the charity? I'm sure there are a few that allow you to buy a bike for an African kid to get to school, or for a nurse to do their rounds...
