My commuter/winter bike is in the shop for a new BB, Headset and possibly a rear derailleur. So I prepped one of my other bikes 3 days ago it's tubeless tyre went soft after 2or 3 days so I topped up with more sealant and reseated the tyre. Most times it is simple no mess but today was the exact opposite. 6 hours later it still solid 🤞 Anyway my picture of the day:
Thankfully half the mud had disappeared by the time I took the picture but near the cafe my mate said I looked like I had been riding cyclocross, the front brake was just a solid mud block at that point. Despite the ride being 100% on paved surfaces, 99% on road 😂
Not much happened on the commute except I got to test my Akaso video cam in the dark.
The trains/station was fairly busy because someone had been hit by a train 😕
Collected my bike from the LBS and rode it back home. They sorted a warped front disc which I had tried to fix a few times when touring. Seems to be finally fixed. On the way back the new seat post started slipping so stopped off a Halfords for one of their folding multi-tools (£6) as I hadn't taken anything with me this morning. Lucky that I did as the seat post started slipping again. Small issue but great to be back on the country tracks again.
