Great pictures.

I'm reminded of walking across Oulton Broad on the ice in 1962/3.

Wow ! My Dad said he used to walk across it also. As a shortcut when travelling to Lowestoft from Barnby for work. Going across the Broad saved going along way around……

Apparently a bread delivery van had the same idea. Which was all spiffing until the ice gave way one Morning and to the bottom the van went…..
