My first proper day with my recently purchased Holden Commodore station wagon.
It's a 2001 model 3.8 litre V6 with only 79,000 km, drives like a new car.
Unfortunately Holden the company is no more, General Motors closed them down at the end of 2020 after 72 years.
Growing up there was a massive rivalry between Holden and Ford, especially on the racetrack.
You were either a Ford or a Holden family. Our family was definitely a Holden family so after my last couple of cars being something other than a Holden it's nice to come back to the fold.

wow, that's a mover! you must have a big family!

I don't believe there is a vaccine. It's just one of those childhood things that kids need to get!
If you don't get the immunity during childhood, there's more chance of Shingles when you're older.

Chickenpox used to be very common in the United States. In the early 1990s, more than 4 million people got chickenpox, 10,500 to 13,000 were hospitalized, and 100 to 150 died each year. Chickenpox vaccine became available in the United States in 1995.

I guess I never got the jab myself, but I think my kids must had gotten it, along w/ their other shots for school
I don't believe any of us caught the virus
my Dad got shingles & so did an older Sister of mine
