Fantastic ! Bet that's 'loud' in the middle of a Thunderstorm......
We stayed in a house in in France when i was a kid (Afraid i can't tell you the area off-hand). There was a Thunderstorm one night (I'm sure exaggerated by the fact we were in a Valley). It felt and sounded like the World was about to end.

Yes, thunderstorms here are awesome (though we could do with more of them to replenish the rivers).
And yes, it was an awesome walk. This is the view where I stopped for a nibble... I walked back along that ridge on the left to get back home.

No riding today, thanks to a combination of not feeling great, and rain most of the day... so I'm glad I got out for a quick amble this morning, whilst it wasn't raining, to see the fresh snow on the mountains...
