One of our favourite walks, over and around the ancient Tarr Steps clapper bridge in middle of Exmoor. The bridge is dated anywhere between 1000BCE and Medieval times, and is said to be the longest and oldest example in Great Britain. Several large tree trunks and branches currently stuck against the upriver side of the bridge, post recent storms, awaiting clearance.
