Cromer cliffs... Just under 100 steps, I think.. Nice bit of extra exercise half way round my Saturday stroll.

About 35 years ago, MrsPete and I caught The Waverley from Margate to Southend Pier to watch the airshow.
Nice to see it still paddling around.. 👍

Much longer ago than that myself and one or two other kids threw the lines for the mooring ropes at Craigendoran Pier sometimes to the Waverley but more often Jeannie Deans or the Talisman and sometimes Lucy Ashton which was in comparison a tiny boat.
Elfin safety would have a fit nowadays but we came to no harm and it taught us how to throw ropes. We were supervised by the actual pier hands so not on our own.
