@biggs682 - having had this with probate costs and a solicitor I'm still unsure what we paid their exhorbitant bill for. I did all the paperwork and they just checked, signed and submitted it.

We did it ourselves for FIL and MIL.

We thought about it but it will basically fall on me and swmbo to do , and we don't want the responsibility and pressure doing it

weather ppl say it might reach 80F on Saturday!

Physio session done. I'm wobbly now. I had to do some squats on pressure plates and my left leg power is 17% less than the right. By the end of the session, we tested again, and I managed to get to 12% out. I'm taking quite a lot of weight on my right leg - something to be expected with 3 months on sticks. He did say he had no idea how I was walking (after the accident) after seeing my injuries from the CT Scan.

Felt like a Friday until I filled in the timesheet and discovered I had lost 5 minutes rather than gained 25. Weird current employer has a 37 hour week of 4 days of 7 1/2 hours and 7 on Friday rather than 7hr24min each day
A lunchtime trek was undertaken to the Co-op surveying the loose chippings on the roads and thinking best avoided by bike for a while longer.

I had a ride with my friends this morning. The start was delayed as I had a PSA blood test. It was a pleasant ride the 7 of us. We stopped in Lacock for tea.
The ride home was marred by a group of old people pedestrians who decided to annexe the shared cycle/ footpath for themselves. They had blocked the pavement saying that I should be in the road. I told them that there were signs showing a cyclist and a person indicating that it was a shared path. They argued that is was meant for children. I told them that the path was specially made as part of the Sustrans network. I also said that motorists would complain that we were not using a cycle track built for us but using the road. The Council is at fault by painting cycle lanes in the road as part of a traffic calming measure. New people to the area think that this is the cycle lane. I won't ride in the road if I can help it as the vehicle will pass by really close.
