It's been a lovely and sunny, albeit still slightly chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, but still feel somewhat meh. This morning's plans were upended somewhat thanks to discovering that the pears I bought a week and a half ago, and were in my utility room fruit store, were in serious danger of developing language skills. Not wanting to consign a whole bag of pears to the compost, I turned them into a batch of pear & ginger jam instead. So that way, they won't be wasted.

Had a lovely luncheon of wholemeal toast, salami Napoli, smoked cheddar cheese, fruit and a :cuppa:

I have discovered that the Tesco's "Finest" cheddars are made by the Davidstow creamery.

Didn't really fancy doing overly much this afternoon, but made myself go out on the bike. Took Maximillian the MTB to ride along the Hundred Foot for a bit. Was actually the right decision, as it was lovely out in spite of the cool breeze. It was still windproof jacket and long-fingered gloves territory though.

Now sat down with a post-ride :cuppa: and a biskit.

Prozac required from here on in.
Watching England has an inevitability about it. They'll loose, it's just you don't know at what point.
This however, is a totally different scale of anxiety...
Our chances given Inter, Barcelona, Dortmund (even those pesky Villains) are probably in the low 20% maybe even if but still, it's a chance and that's heart failure territory.

Oh, tell me about it...

*wibble*

I hope your training is going okay. Beans is quite pleased about my progress.

This particular feline unit (the blue & white bicolour Lexi model) has been training me for eleven years now

The penultimate day of work completed this week, using my home days on Thursdays and Fridays. Another lovely day today and very warm for the time of year. Got my washing dried outside. :becool:

My work computer was updated to Windows 11 today. Seemed to go without issues.

Apart from work, I didn't do too much as I felt I should rest as I've had a few very active days. I took my recycling to the bottle bank and yet again marvel at the people who leave their tins and bottles beside the thing rather than put them in the right place, and usually dump completely unrelated rubbish along with it. Tonight there was an old CRT TV! What is wrong with people?

Unusually for me, I took a wander around the shops but didn't buy anything. I water my plants and read a bit.

Helped mummy shed Robin round up her wayward kids this evening, the little fatties escaped through the gap at the top of the shed door and couldn’t get back in again.

Sorry folks tonight's show was Ball and Boe.Not Buble.Anyway I hated it.I only like six songs.Three of those were from Les Mis,plus a couple of sixties ,the banter was ok ,Mrs P mention I did not look happy,I did enjoy two pints in the Wetherspoons next door though. What did annoy me was the women next to me who seemed to film all of the muffin show with her phone with the torch light on.It's the last time I go with Mrs P if she insists on filming.
