Sun was out but it was a chilly ride to work not helped by plainly not fitting the pannier onto the ebike right as on a rarely used bike track with vertical undulations it fell off.
The use of a different route necessitated by nasty road signs for loose chippings taking place
Sun hid most of the day so an equally chilly Asda trek at lunchtime and ride home.
Definitely an evening for fish and chips followed by treacle sponge pudding and custard.

Nearly hot chocolate time. Need something to warm me up after a mostly cloudy & cold day.
Another amazing day from a weather point of view. I believe temperatures reached around 20C.
I've been to my Wednesday night dance class. It's all a bit of a rush to get home from work, get something to eat, a quick shower and then get to class. Actually having to physically go to work is an over-rated pass time! I can't wait to my work from home contract becomes reality as I can make much better use of my time. It will probably be next month.
We had a meet and greet meeting with our new supervisor yesterday and it consisted of her telling us about herself and she even had a PowerPoint presentation of all her photos, kids, cats, dogs and concert footage.😴 By the time she was finished, we were over time in the meeting room and she never even asked us our names. Early days, but a bit self-centered is my initial impression.
Inexplicably, I have a blister on my foot. I have walked hundreds of miles in those shoes without problems, so no idea how that happened.

It's been a sunny but chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well, which was nice. Had a kitchen morning, which was mainly dedicated to prepping assorted bits to go into the crock pot, which was duly locked and loaded with the main component of tonight's supper.
Had a lovely luncheon of rye bread, salami, smoked cheddar, fruit and a
After, it was straight off into town to clear the shopping list and see if I could sniff out some decent YS bargains. Plenty of stickered stuff in Tesco, but not overly much of real interest. There were a lot of dinged Easter eggs in the green bins, but the majority of them were still pretty expensive, and the ones which were reasonably priced were all Cadbury's ones. And I'm not a fan of their milk chocolate. There was also a lot of cider and pouches of curry sauce.
The only items I ended up picking up on sticker in Tesco was a bag of pears, a swede and a job lot of doggy chews that I know my friend buys for her two Schnauzers.
Stopped off at Waitrose on the way home, and that was much more productive. A ten pound note bought me a large tub of custard, a lemon muffin and a blueberry muffin from their in-store bakery, half a kilo of Shetland scallops (with roe), and a lobster tail.
Had a lovely supper of the carrot, sweet potato & red lentil soup, then a portion of pasta bake with a sausage meatball and smoked bacon ragu.
Also participated in a web chat with BTCC rookie and former Porsche Cup racer Charls Rainford.
