Meowdam Lexi is definitely female (albeit spayed) and she's been here for eleven years.

Had spotted a lovely Longines automatic with an integrated bracelet for sale. Even though the plating was a little worn on the clasp, I thought it was worth investigating. But it fits a 14 cm wrist and I've got a 16 cm wrist, so its previous owner must've been truly tiny!

The serial number dates it to the late 1960s, so finding extra links is going to be just about impossible.

Ah well, hey ho.

Been in bed last hour. Hard work having ditched the crutches for walking about the home (with doc permission). Tired now. Really can't bend down well to collect things off the floor so that needs some work on the flexibility.

Hoping to do 10 miles on the turbo tomorrow.

Once I finally made it to Brands Hatch a very good day was had. Left home in plenty of time, tank of diesel purchased, on to the recycling centre at the appointed time and then just short of two hours to drive 86 miles thanks to the great British public's current inability to drive sensibly and without crashing into each other

There's been some serious tree felling at Brands due to Ash Dieback - virtually everything around the outside of Druids & behind South Bank has been removed and it doesn't half look strange after all those years of tree cover. At least there's still some cover - unlike Snetterton where I'll be on Sunday hoping the blustery wind will have dropped back a bit.

bought an expensive ( for me ) pair of shorts at decathlon.I didnt have my reading glasses so all i could read was the size label so i asked a staff member to confirm sizing and i was told they are ok , i cant even get them past my knees let alone near my waist .
I've got to send back a pair of 'More Mile Tracksters' as i ordered medium for the waist size, but they're much too short and the only way to get them on is to not use the foot stirrups and even then they're more like 3/4 length on me!

I saw something to that effect on the Book of Faces. Some of those trees had serious age to them... But I guess they can't take any risks with bits of tree falling off at the wrong time...
