Just had to pay £59 for a sticker to pop on my 'green bin' so the council will re-cycle my garden waste.

£49 here every 2 weeks from last week to "early December"

Not a bad little do - fewer people than I was expecting and all but one person were fellow retirees. Only planned on a couple of drinks, but kept missing the timing to make the walk back to the rail station so two pints turned into four which has served to confirm that while I like a drink, I'm definitely NOT a drinker any more.

Very chilly evening with ice forming on car roofs even at 8:30pm locally.

It's IMSA at Sebring this weekend with the vast majority of the support races also being streamed on Youtube - currently watching the Lamborghini Super Tropheo having already seen the Porsche Carrera Cup & Mustang Challenge races

Just had to pay £59 for a sticker to pop on my 'green bin' so the council will re-cycle my garden waste. They will still collect food waste, but not garden stuff. As a keen gardener, we compost most but can't with our laurel bushes. Can't put the laurel through the muncher either.

£52.50 round here which I don't bother with. Apart from once per year when I cut back the fuschias and lavendar bushes, all I have is grass clippings which normally go into a black bag in the normal bin when there's not a lot. Otherwise I'll save up a few bags worth and to a tip run when using the car for something else.
