Got off the train at Cambridge to be greeted by an RAF Hercueles doing a low pass over Marshals Aerospace prior to landing (the first of many according to Flightradar). I'd love to know who picks the call signs.

Rode up to St. Ives and then back using as much of the various cycleways and the guided busway path as possible. I can see the attraction of these segregated paths, but they really need to further segregate the walkers - especially those with dogs.

I had a bacon and onion risotto for supper. :hungry:

Sort of kept an eye on West Ham v Derby in the FA Cup and have been furkling through an archive of stock car photos. There are two photos that are of interest to me - and which I downloaded last week. They are of the same car but in two different liveries, albeit under the same ownership & race number. But there is a problem.

The photos (taken by the same photographer) are both tagged as having been taken at the same race meeting i.e. Aldershot on the 31st March 1984. Which can't be right - unless the driver and his mechanic decided to respray the car between races and change grades at the same time. So... Either one of the photos has been wrongly labelled. Or both of them are wrong. Question is, which one...

This is fairly typical of the kind of errors I'm having to wade through.

And all the while, I hear peter Jurasik's voice in my mind saying "Lady Morella, please. We can't both be Emperor..."

Well an outdoor day.

Helping tidy a log store.

Playing, carefully, with the chainsaw.
Using the splitter to produce material for the log burner.

My benefit was lunch and dinner. Tomorrow I will feel like $hit. Muscles I had forgotten about will be making their presence felt

But the yard looks tidier and the log store has been refilled.

Followed one last week, flight code/name SHIT16N, headed north towards Scotland.

Imagine waiting on boarding for that being called over the PA system.

I'm sure the parishioners will be immensely relieved to hear that, as of 17:18 hours this afternoon, my tax return is safely in the clutches of HMRC.
