I'm sure you are right and in many ways the request to wear a mask is un- enforceable for practical reasons so it has to be by consent. Perhaps a large screen showing a link to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ would help persuade customers . For example as of yesterday there would seem to be 37,960 new cases in the UK .If that isn't enough to persuade people to take basic precautions l guess nothing willWithout legal (i.e. government support) they can't enforce it. It's the same when Transport for London says you need to wear masks on trains and buses, it is unenforced.
I think that is very true , but it just frustrates me , all the signs are up and even a security guard watching people go in and out but no the idiots who don't wear mask's are allowed inMore about protecting staff from verbal and physical abuse. For some it's the only response they have to being told what they should be doing, by a mere member of staff.
