Grilled some chicken this afternoon, after riding the bicycle in the basement due to the heat 97F,(36C). After all, it should be like a bike ride, not Flight of the Phoenix. Tomorrow I shall try to ride in the morning.(Or have Lilliuberlero on the speakers).

Five of the nine blue tits have died in the last twenty four hours. One has left the nest and was last seen flopping about in the garden. There are only three left in the nest box, in amongst all the corpses. It's a bit grim really.
