Fixed my reading glasses. A screw for one arm fell out on train, starting my cycle tour a couple of weeks back. Took a screw out of some reading glasses that are my old prescription, and used this to fix the arm of my latest glasses.

I've been down to the coast with the grandsprogs and didn't have fish and chips! We found a seafront pub that does Jamaican style cooking. So, curry goat for me, jerk chicken for my daughter and a selection of chips + something. It was a two-car trip and all the youngsters slept on the way home.

Someone magnet fishing in the canal in Huddersfield caught a live hand grenade a few years ago.

They'd to break social distancing rules to deal with it.

TBH, no idea really. That does look a lot like the one Screwfix sells - around £130 new if it is.

I can remember my friend had one. We were young but he was a few years older than me. A circular thing a bit like atin of shoe polish. He placed it on the ground and hit it several times with a sledge hammer. The first two hits just squashed it. The third was a very loud bang which left our ears ringing. Our brothers came rushing down from a field to find us laughing.
