All this rush to go cash less and to do online banking has it's down sides. My brother had the Post Office as his internet provider which I think then became Talk Talk and has now switched to Origin. The other day he went to pay a bill and discovered that he had been cut off. He went into town to try to sort things out. He discovered that Origin have no record of his account. He tried going to Lloyds Bank and discovered that they were closed, usually open. He is now saying that he may lose his land line phone number which he relies on for security verification.
Yesterday they were talking on the TV about phone theft and how they can break encrypted data and take out loans on their victims. It makes you wonder who is in charge!

Good morning from Suffolk where it's another bright and sunny start to the day with (at the moment) much lighter winds than yesterday.
Coffee has been had and a fresh pack of custard creams was opened to provide the biscuity accompaniment. Today will involve train rides, bike rides and, depending on times, possibly lunch and/or drinks.

last night, after dinner, or during my 4th course, I accidentally discovered maple syrup on a grilled cheese & bacon open face sandwich, is actually good

this morning, over the 1st course of the day, I was accidentally reminded that maple syrup is good on things that it was not intended for, like veggie breakfast sausage

wondering when my next maple syrup accident will happen :hungry:
