Whilst taking the dogs for walkies around Moulton this afternoon there was a Spitfire flying overhead 🛬
A couple of Chinooks round here this afternoon, a C-130 Hercules on approach to Mildenhall from the train this morning and a couple of Stratotankers doing loops around Mildenhall while on the train to and waiting at Ely station yesterday.

Sounds like it's in the same league as the Scandinavian fermented herring stuff...

Have you ever tried the sweets, Salmiakki is salted* Liquorice. I had a Finnish girlfriend and once when her sister came over to visit Marika bought several bags over with her and Sari gave me one to try, Absolutely revolting and lasted about 10 seconds before I spat it out to the sounds of the 3 Sisters cackling with glee, luckily the 3rd sister Taria had laid on a bottle of Vodka as it was the first time in 18 months all 3 had been together and I had a glass of that to hand to get rid of the taste.

* The Salt used is Ammonium Chloride/Sal Ammoniac
