Having dithered about what I was going to do this morning, I came to an agreement with myself that if I did some domestics I could go out for a couple of hours on the 'best' bike. So, having hung the washing out on the whirlygig, cleaned the bath & bog and done the vacuuming, a slice of toast was had for lunch and off I went for 2.5 hours in almost warm sunshine and a nagging breeze* that picked up for the return leg.
Spuds, grilled chicken & peas provided an almost healthy tea, if you ignore the bag of crisps and a couple of custard creams I had with a coffee afterwards. And it's now hot chocolate time.
*either that or I'm just knackered

No, there was a rather nagging breeze this afternoon, as I discovered whilst out on my own bicycular bimble.
It turned out to be a nice day despite a damp start when I was walking to work. I had a productive day at work for a change. Then after sunshine and blue skies, it started raining again as I was leaving the office! I must have done something to annoy the big boss up in the sky.
I've discovered my favourite hardware/homeware shop, one of those where you could find absolutely anything no matter how obscure, is to close as the owner is 72 and wishes to retire. I wish him well but I will miss the shop. In the meantime, 30% off everything to clear.
